Why Altitude Matters

Cooler mountain temperatures provide a slower growth cycle for the coffee tree which prolongs bean development.

This longer maturation process imbues the coffee bean with more complex sugars, creating deeper & more compelling flavors.

High elevations also have better drainage which reduces the amount of water in the fruit resulting in a further concentration of flavors.

As altitude increases, a coffee’s flavor profile becomes more pronounced and distinctive.

Peruvian Altitude Coffee is grown in the highest elevation possible for any coffee, 6,000 feet.

Quality varieties of Arabica Coffee trees will not grow at such high altitudes if they are not relatively close to the equator.

Therefore, the Peruvian Andes Mountains remain the premium location to source such a high quality altitude coffee.

With A Taste, Texture, & Body So Good

Misha Life’s Peruvian Altitude Coffee is also grown in the shade, further protecting the coffee fruit from excessive heat and damaging sun rays.

The altitude, shade and attention to every detail such as growing, harvesting, & roasting creates a limited supply coffee with a Taste, Texture, & Body So Good...

...that you don’t need sugar, artificial fillers, or cream…
...even if you are someone who regularly does not like your coffee black.

Of course, if you want to enhance the flavor with sweeteners it will be divine given that Misha Life Peruvian Altitude Coffee is so flavorful.

People describe  this coffee as an “Exotically Rich Chocolate, Almond, and Fruity” experience.

Antioxidants

Not only does this coffee taste sublime,
but it is also better for you.

The superior quality of the soil and premium growing conditions of Peruvian Altitude Specialty Coffee gives it a richer and more dense nutrient profile.

Studies show that specialty single origin coffee has a higher amount of Antioxidants than ordinary factory coffee.

We want to consume antioxidants because they reduce the oxidative stress that modern life and ageing puts on our cells.

This basically means that we can look younger, feel stronger and live longer.

Considering that coffee is the world's single biggest source of antioxidants it only makes sense to get the most antioxidant rich coffee you can.

How & Why We Brought Peruvian Altitude Coffee To The USA

Misha Life came to be upon the founder, Mitchell Bandklayder’s arrival to Peru in the course of sailing around the world on his sailboat.

It was in the La Punta District of Lima that Mitchell met Ernesto who told stories of his award winning coffee that he produces in the highlands of the Peruvian Andes with the help of long nosed raccoon like animals called Coatis' or Mishasho as the locals refer to them.

Ernesto was very passionate about his coffee and invited Mitchell to his home to try his delicious brew.

With its rich Chocolate, Almond, and fruity notes, Mitchell couldn’t believe his taste buds.

He was so taken by the experience that he decided to share Mishasho coffee with the world.

Thus Misha Life Coffee Was Born.
